Our Story
RMDS began as an online community in 2009, when data science was still emerging and artificial intelligence was in an early stage of development. With support from experts in research methods, statistics, analytics, and machine learning, RMDS grew into a global community for training, collaboration, and solution development.
RMDS Lab was formally established in 2019 to advance a more holistic and scientifically grounded approach to data and AI practice. Today, RMDS Lab works at the intersection of methods, data, evaluation, and AI implementation to help customers build reliable, responsible, and high-impact AI capabilities.
What We Stand For
We believe AI transformation should be rigorous, responsible, value-aligned, and practical. Our work integrates data science, causality, systems thinking, governance, and responsible AI so organizations can move from fragmented experimentation to scalable and trustworthy transformation.
Through ResearchMethods.org and GrmdsAI, RMDS Lab connects Holistic Computation, Artificial Spiritual Intelligence, and the AI Maturity Ladder into a coherent approach for helping people and organizations progress from data to decisions, and from decisions to impact.
What We Do
RMDS Lab supports advisory, lab enablement, education, certification, solution development, and community convening. We help organizations clarify goals, define decision points, test value and safety, deploy with guardrails, and scale what works through playbooks, registries, and governance.
